Copyright Infringement

We recently discovered that a book published by Elsevier / Butterworth-Heinemann has significantly infringed the copyright of a book published by Connley Walker.

The offending book that was published by Elsevier / Butterworth-Heinemann in 2016 is “Threat Assessment and Risk Analysis” by Gregory Allen and Rachel Derr ISBN-13: 978-0128022245, ISBN-10: 0128022248. The book published by Connley Walker in 2001 that had sections copied is “Operational risk management: Controlling opportunities and threats”. ISBN 0957907400.

The publisher of the Gregory Allen and Rachel Derr book, Elsevier / Butterworth-Heinemann, has admitted the copyright infringement and has stated to us that the book has been removed from sales. We have found however that the book is still available and is still listed in libraries.
